Lights, colour and music – what more could you want in a festival?
Vivid Sydney is a series of dynamic events exploring light, music and ideas. One of the biggest events in the Sydney calendar, the 18-day festival invites visionary creative industry leaders to share their experiences and showcase how to create innovative brands and products.
There are three key elements of the festival.
The hugely popular immersive Light installations and projections on major public buildings and sites like the Sydney Opera House, Customs House, Macquarie Street and The Rocks is the public face of the festival.
Vivid LIVE features fantastic Music talent from local and international musicians performing at the Opera House.
Vivid Ideas (formerly Creative Sydney) is an exciting program of public talks and debates from creative thinkers around the world. During Vivid Ideas the 2013 Australian Design Awards will be held at the spectacular Oversees Passenger terminal and that’s an event we won’t be missing!
