Joining an already impressive roster chaired by Head of School of Architecture, UTS Anthony Burke are: biomedical engineer and health technologies entrepreneur Dr Jordan Nguyen (above): Rowena Westphalen, an expert and advocate for Design Thinking in the corporate environment; and Sacha Coles, Director of ASPECT Studios, one of Australia’s preeminent landscape architecture and urban design practices.

Dr Jordan Nguyen is a biomedical Engineer working towards big positive impacts in health technologies. In an effort to further advance his work through collaboration towards accessible products, Jordan recently founded a not-for-profit social enterprise aimed at creating accessible and innovative assistive technology to improve the quality of life for people living with a wide range of disabilities. Jordan has passion for contributing as much as possible to society, mostly through the design, development and deployment of intelligent Assistive Technology and Health Technology.

Rowena is formerly the Senior Global Director for Design Thinking at SAP – a small team at SAP focused on championing Design Thinking to internal customer facing teams all around the world, developing and delivering new enablement materials and measuring the impact of the program.

Sacha Coles is Director of ASPECT Studios, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Shanghai. The award-winning studio specialises in designing places where people want to be. With a practice comprising over 100 people, the studios are recognised for their rigorous design methodology, consistently innovating to produce high quality sustainable design outcomes across both public and private sectors.

We welcome Jordan, Rowena and Sacha and their expertise and vision as we work towards making sure Object is here for another 50 years.
